今週土曜日、大手仮想通貨取引所KuCoinの共同創設者兼CEO(最高経営責任者)であるJohnny Lyu氏は、先月末に発生したハッキング事件の犯人グループの特定に成功したと発表した。
KuCoinは9月26日、ビットコイン(BTC)やリップル(XRP)などの仮想通貨資産が被害を被った、大規模なハッキングを受けたことを報告していた。

取引所KuCoinの共同創設者兼CEOであるJohnny Lyu氏は、「一連のハッキング事件の犯人グループの特定に成功した」と報告した。
続けてJohnny Lyu氏は、「この事件の背後にいる人物を証明できたため、これらの人物に対し、法務執行機関を通して法的手段をとる準備ができている。」とも語った。

KuCoinによれば、「取引所は完全なシステム環境に戻ってきている」といい、「合計31のトークンが入出金サービスを再開した」ことも報告している。
KuCoin is coming back to fully functionality. My team and I will continue to do our best to offset the impact of the incident.
As of now, a total of 31 tokens have opened deposit & withdrawal services, and more tokens including $BTC, $ETH and $USDT will follow.

取引所KuCoinは、その正確な被害総額を公表していないが、TheBlockのリサーチディレクターであるLarryCermak氏によれば、その額は約2億8000万ドル相当にも及ぶと考えられていた。
